Materials & Supplies
• Item to print (t-shirt, tote bag, etc.)
• Shirt painting board
• Paper
• Container of Water
• Vacuum (optional)
Note: supplies & tools can be substituted with other items.

Preparation: Gather all supplies and materials needed.
Tip: If needed, iron item to smooth out wrinkles. Remove any lint with lint roller.

Using a Plastic Frame (optional)
Place the PhotoEZ Stencil shinny side down. You should be able to read the stencil if it has text. Center the plastic frame on top of stencil. Use tape to secure the stencil to the plastic frame. Be sure that the tape leaves no gaps between the stencil and the plastic frame. Use masking tape, blue painters tape or scotch tape.
Note: using a plastic frame improves production time and prevents paint from going over the edge of the stencil, onto the shirt.

Place smooth cardboard or paper inside the shirt to prevent paint from bleeding through. Place the stencil and frame assembly on the shirt.

Shake bottle first if needed. Turn bottle upside down and be sure there are no air bubbles that will cause the paint to spatter on the shirt while squeezing the paint out. Carefully squeeze a line of Jones Tones Paint on the stencil.

Use a squeegee to spread the paint evenly across the stencil. Press the paint through the silkscreen mesh, however, do not scrape too hard as that will cause too little paint from going onto the shirt. Pressing too hard may also cause bleeding.

Before completely lifting the stencil up, check for paint voids. If there are paint voids carefully lay the stencil back down and apply more paint. Carefully left the stencil and place it in a container of water, Or place on another shirt and continue printing.
Be sure to work quickly as the paint dries very fast. Stop printing when the paint starts to feel too thick.

Quickly sprinkle Jones Tones Glitter over wet paint. You may need another person to sprinkle the glitter.
Note: Jones Tones Paint dries fast clean PhotoEZ Stencil immediately.

Shift and shake the glitter so that all the wet paint is covered with glitter.

Sprinkle a thick layer of glitter over the wet paint.

Be sure to have a thick layer of glitter so that you cannot see the wet paint image.

Place at least two pieces of regular copy paper on top of glitter. Use a Speedball Brayer to carefully roll the glitter into the ink. Be sure to hold paper and shirt in place and that nothing moves except the brayer.

Shake excess glitter onto paper.

Place excess glitter back into the bottle to use later.

When the paint completely dries vacuum the excess glitter with a soft dusting attachment.
